Bison Jaw

From Kansas. Am not certain if this is bison antiqus, but it is mineralized. All teeth present and in good condition. Prepped with lacquer to protect. Approx 15.5 inches long x 7" tall.

Oligocene Turtle
stylemys nebrascensis

This 30 million year old 5" turtle was found in the White River Badlands on private land in South Dakota. This beauty is completely original. There is also ABSOLUTLY NO distortion in this piece due to the pressure during the preservation process. Turtles of this size and condition are very hard to find and are rare pieces in their own right. Prepped with a flat base for display, or you can remove matrix to expose underside of carapice. This is a great little specimen.

Gomphothere Tooth in Jaw
Nice tooth in jaw section of extinct proboscidea from China. Tooth measures 4" x 2" and entire specimen measures 7" x 5" x 3".
A very nice collectors specimen!

Mosasaur Tooth
This specimen is from an extinct marine reptile called the mosasaur. This giant aquatic carnivore lived in the Cretaceous sea that covered what is now the Sahara desert, 65-130 million years ago. Complete with root in original matrix.

Oreodont Skull

Here is a nice eye catching Oreodont skull. The oreodon was a cud-chewing animal & roamed in great herds over the Oligocene & Miocene formations about 30 - 34 million years ago. Some restoration, particularly in brain case area.

Phacops Trilobite

From the Atlas mountains of Morocco. This creature crawled about the bottom of an ancient sea that covered the area that is now the Atlas mountains. It lived in the Devonian period, 354 to 412 million years ago. million years ago.

Pliocene Echinoids

Attractive matrix specimen of echinoids more commonly known as sand dollars. They are dendraster gibbsi, collected in the Etchgoin formation of the Kettlemen Hills in King's county California. There are 7 complete specimens in this matrix.
